SCVPS

On Nov.6, I along with the other SC Mission:Lifeline Steering Committee members, were honored by SC Hospital Association, for our work on the heart care initiative that we are implementing in SC. Heart patients will truly be safer when this is completed. We hope to have it in the entire state within the next 18 months. Please keep SC Mission:Lifeline in your prayers. I know Ann would be proud to know that even through her death, she is still helping others.

On another note, last Tuesday, Nov. 10, 2009, I conducted a lecture at MUSC concerning medical errors, to the medical students there. I shared my journey as a Patient Advocate and Ann's Story. Students were very touched and I truly believe we are making a difference in...promoting patient safety and helping to educate our future medical professionals, concerning medical errors.
